Thanks a Ton!

Every year, more than half a million people experience homelessness across the United States. Housing instability and shelter loss can impact anyone at any time, and nearly 30% of those affected are families with children. This isn’t just happening in major cities, either. It’s happening right here in South Louisiana. At BBR Creative, we believe everyone deserves the dignity of a fresh start.

Recently, the 8th Annual Hygiene for Humanity Drive successfully ended with “a ton” of essential hygiene supplies collected across Lafayette and Baton Rouge to support those in need. This year’s drive began on May 30 and ended on June 23, celebrating 25 days of giving in honor our 25th anniversary. Since 2014, the Hygiene for Humanity project has provided thousands of hygiene products and supplies to individuals experiencing food and shelter insecurities.

Together with 10 community partners across five Louisiana parishes, we were able to collect over 1,000 pounds of donated hygiene products. Throughout the 25 days of giving, citizens, friends and supporters dropped off much-needed products such as shampoo, deodorant and toothbrushes benefitting the Stella Maris Center in Lafayette and St. Vincent de Paul in Baton Rouge.
